The Department of Functional and Ultrasound Diagnostics (FUD) was established in April 2020 as a result of the merger of the ultrasound and functional diagnostics offices of the NII KPSSZ.

The main premise behind the establishment of the department was an increased need for cardiovascular diagnostic services in the Kuzbass, selection of high-tech medical care, supervision of patients after surgical interventions.

The task of the department is to provide diagnostic services at all stages of specialized and high-tech medical care to adults and children with cardiovascular diseases. Examinations are carried out in the outpatient and inpatient settings, during the interventional procedures, including intraoperative cardiac ultrasound examinations, during the pre-operative preparation and postoperative rehabilitation of patients.

The department employs 10 physicians, 7 specialists with Ph.D in Cardiology and five or more years of professional experience, and 7 nurses with highest level of nursing education and expertise within the nursing profession.

The department provides all kinds of diagnostic services for adults and children with cardiovascular diseases. The full list of examinations is presented on the website in the “list of services” section.

Registration of patients is carried out in person or by phone 64-37-58 from 8 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. (local time).

The FUD`s reception is located on the 2nd floor in the passage between the buildings of the hospital and the polyclinic.
