The main activities of KCC
Implementation of a comprehensive high-technology medical care to the population of the Siberian Federal District within the frames of federal, regional and municipal budgets in circulatory diseases with the use of world-class innovative research and developments. Delivery of a specialized twenty-four-hour medical care in acute coronary syndrome and in acute cerebrovascular accident within the framework of the regional vascular center. A comprehensive rehabilitation system is a component of circulatory diseases treatment including unique original approaches. Telemedicine technologies are realized at the regional level.
Implementation of the approaches in the “closed-cycle” system in fundamental scientific issues: innovative biocompatible materials on the basis of nanotechnologies and tissue engineering for experimental and clinical implementation in circulatory diseases treatment; comprehensive assessment of genetic, immunologic and metabolic factors in the development of polyvascular disease; socio-medical, epidemiological, clinical and organizational aspects of circulatory diseases. The use of a “large industrial region” model for implementation of innovative approaches in research activities.
A continuous education system with the implementation of modern educational and simulation technologies taking into account the main areas of the institution’s research and practice activity (“Cardiology”, “Cardiovascular surgery”, “Health care organization and public health”, “Anesthesiology and intensive care”, “Roentgen-endovascular diagnostics and treatment”, “Roentgenology” profiles).
