The winners of the Young Scientists Competition

The winners of the Young Scientists Competition are:

1^st place - Maryam Khanova with a research study entitled “Cell-based biodegradable small-diameter vascular graft” (Kemerovo);

2^nd place - Kristina Kopyeva with a research study entitled “Endothelial dysfunction as a pathogenetic mechanism for the development of anthracycline-induced cardiotoxicity” (Tomsk);

3^rd place - Evgeniya Krivkina with a research study entitled “Results of preclinical studies of biodegradable drug-eluting vascular graft on large animal models” (Kemerovo).   

Our scientists are currently working on the development of unique biodegradable small-diameter vascular grafts.

For the 1^st place Maryam Khanova received a travel grant for the European Congress of Cardiology-2022 in Barcelona, and for the 3^rd place Evgeniya Krivkina received a travel grant for the Russian Heart Days in 2022 in Saint Petersburg.
