The Council of Young Scientists

The Council of young Scientists of the NII KPSSZ was founded by the decision of the Academic Council on 11 September, 2009 consisting of young scientists of the NII KPSSZ.

The activity of the Council of Young Scientists (CYS) is aimed at the maximum participation in resolving the actual issues of young scientists of the Institute through active interaction with young colleagues from other scientific and educational institutions of Kuzbass and Russia. Following the results of the survey of the young scientists of the Institute performed by the CYS in 2010, it was identified that the main problems of the young scientists are the housing issue, insufficient knowledge of foreign languages and biomedical statistics. The members of the CYS started to actively participate in the collaborative work with the management of the NII for providing the housing loans to the young scientists of the Institute. This initiative was supported by the Governor of the Kemerovo Region Aman Tuleev and since 2011 all young families received housing. With the active participation of the CYS and the support of the Institute’s administration the School for Young Scientists is working successfully where the leading scientists of Kuzbass introduce actual issues of medical science to young researcher associates. Since 2010 by the efforts of the CYS and the Department of Medical Care Optimization the School of Medical Statistics was organized, which became the most successful educational project of the CYS of the NII KPSSZ of SB RAMS.

Since 2009 the CYS participates in organization and performing of annual scientific sessions of the young scientists of Kuzbass “Science – to practice” and “Medicine and Biotechnologies” section within the frames of the Innovative Convention “Kuzbass: Education, Science, Innovations.”

The employees of the CYS provide consultative assistance to the young scientists in the preparation of research projects for participation the program “U.M.N.I.K.” of the Federal Fund for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises Development in the scientific and technical sphere.
